MOTION: Councillor William Joseph Carey

"That this Area Committee agrees to replace missing bollards located  on Woodford Road (house numbers removed). Since the removal of these bollards cars have used this as a rat run causing health and safety concerns for residents here."

REPORT:

We are not aware of any "Rat-Run" activities taking place on Woodford Road.

In relation to the bollard arrangement at the junction of Woodford Road and Woodford Parade, the following was reported previously (March 27th, 2020) through Membersnet:

"Dear Councillor ,

The location has been inspected. It is not proposed to erect a bollard at the location referred to as it would be too close to both of the driveways concerned, and would pose a safety hazard to the entry and egress of vehicles using the properties."
