MOTION: Councillor T. Gilligan
"That the Chief Executive prunes the bushes/briars at Rosebank/Nangor Road up to the M50 cross over. Also other locations:
Ninth Lock Road along Cappaghmore Estate (after the entrance, before the Neilstown bridge).
Fonthill Road just before the roundabout at the train station to the train station.
Edge of the community centre up towards the Booth Road.
REPORT:
The areas that are under the maintenance of the Public Realm Section will be pruned as requested during the winter pruning season. If the vegetation is posing a hazard to pedestrians the works will expedited. These locations include:
- Rosebank/Nangor Road up to the M50 cross over
- Ninth Lock Road along Cappaghmore Estate (after the entrance, before the Neilstown bridge)
The location identified as “Fonthill Road just before the roundabout at the train station to the train station” is not under the maintenance of the Public Realm Section. Details of this location have been referred to the Roads Section for their attention.
Additional details are required for the location identified as “Edge of the community centre up towards the Booth Road”. This area will be examined upon receipt of these details.
