MOTION NO. 2

MOTION: Councillor Carly Bailey

That this committee requests an increase in litter collection at the following green areas:
Greenhills Park, the 8 acres, the 5 acres and the green in front of St. Damiens School in Dublin 12.

REPORT:

Litter picking of the areas in question takes place on a fortnightly basis in conjunction with the grass cutting programme.  These existing arrangements will be examined to confirm that they are working satisfactorily.  If additional cleaning is considered necessary then these arrangements will be put in place.
