QUESTION: Councillor P. Gogarty

To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the likely completion date for Lucan swimming pool?

REPLY:

Construction of the new Lucan Swimming Pool was scheduled for completion in February 2021. However, the impact of COVID -19 on the construction programme, temporary closure of the site and implementation of updated health and safety practices in line with public health guidelines may impact on the project completion date. South Dublin County Council are awaiting a report from the contractors on any anticipated impact.
