KILLINARDEN - FENCE

QUESTION: Councillor M. Corr

"To ask the manager about what plans South Dublin County Council have for the replacement of the fence that separates Killinarden from the Tallaght by pass as it needs to be repaired or ideally replaced with something more aesthetic and will he make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

Roads Department will discuss with Parks & Landscape Services the replacement of missing or broken sections of fence and the re-painting of the fence. Road Design have submitted a proposal to the National Roads Authority for the re-alignment of the N81, which is under consideration at present, so a complete fence renewal would not be anticipated, at this time.
