MOTION NO. 31

MOTION: Councillor L. Kinsella-Colman

To ask the manager to bring forward a report for discussion on a boundary wall or some solution to the constant breaking of windows at (address supplied) as the house is left exposed to been targeted for stone throwing.

REPORT:

An incident regarding a broken window was reported by the tenant at this address to the Council at the end of October 2019. On signing a tenancy agreement, the tenant assumes responsibility for repairs of a non-structural nature which includes the replacement of broken glass in windows and doors. To date the tenant has failed to repair the broken window.

The Council has not received any further reports of broken windows at this property since last October and has no plans at this time to replace the fence that surrounds this property.
