QUESTION: Councillor Joanna Tuffy

To ask the Chief Executive for an update on any contacts initiated with Fingal and Kildare County Councils to get the Liffey Valley Area Management Committee up and running again

REPLY:

It is understood that Fingal Co Co reduced its membership of this committee from all members of the Blanchardstown–Mulhuddart/Castleknock /Ongar AC to three members.

Similarly, this Council agreed to reduce the number of representation from all members of  Lucan and from Palmerstown/ Foothill AC to three members.   These are 

• Cllr Ed. O’Brien
• Cllr Liona O’Toole
• Cllr Alan Hayes.

Contact was made with Fingal Co Co in late 2019 with a view to getting the new Liffey Valley SAAO Management Committee together in Q1 2020.  However, these efforts have obviously been impacted in more recent times by COVID 19.
