To ask the Chief Executive for the numbers of people who have applied for Rebuilding Ireland Homeloans to the Council since the loan scheme was introduced and how many have been granted, refused, withdrawn or are under consideration, and how long does it typically take for an application to be processed
REPLY:
There were 550 applications to this Council for Rebuilding Ireland Home Loans since the scheme commenced in February 2018.
The breakdown of applications by status is as follows:

Total | 561* |
*11 applications were approved but the applicants subsequently withdrew their application so they are included in both withdrawn and approved figures.
The process to accept, verify, assess and decide upon an application currently takes approximately 15 weeks.
