QUESTION: Councillor F. Timmons

"To ask the Chief Executive that as the Parkrun use Corkagh Park every Saturday morning for a 5k run/walk, anywhere from 180 to 365 runners from all over Ireland and beyond each Saturday. This is an ideal opportunity to showcase Corkagh Park to all the participants - with this in mind, would it be possible for the course to be checked on a Friday to ensure it's free from potholes (especially around the lakes) and waterlogged paths?"

The Parkrun route will be checked on a regular basis and any potholes that are identified will be filled in preparation for the run/walk.
