QUESTION: Councillor Shane Moynihan

To ask the Chief Executive for an update on progress made against the action points identifed following the Local Policing Forum held in Rosse Court Centre in October 2019. 

REPLY:

The last North Clondalkin, Lucan and Palmerstown LPF public meeting took place on the 10th October 2019 at the Rossecourt Resource Centre. A report on the meeting was prepared by the LPF Coordinator which was presented to the JPC meeting held on the 22nd November 2019.

The report noted most issues raised seemed to link directly with increased level of drug related activity in this community.

The LPF had agreed to hold a follow up meeting in the Spring of 2020 but at the last LPF management committee meeting it was agreed to defer this meeting until later in the year as the LPF management committee wishes to concentrate on addressing drug related issues particularly in the Balgaddy area.
