To ask the chief executive for an update on the proposed sports pavilions programme at Griffeen Valley Park

REPLY:

The Part 8 for the Pavilion at Griffeen Valley Park has been completed with 4 submissions received during the public consultation period as outlined in the CE report. The next step is completion of the detailed design and construction stages. A framework for contractors for Design and Build Contracts is available to the council for construction of pavilions; so, this facilitates some efficiency here. It is envisaged that the contractor will be appointed in Q1 2020 at which stage the detailed design and construction stage will commence.
