The Choice Based Letting scheme (CBL) is the Council’s primary method of housing allocation since October 2011. Applicants on the Housing List should consult the Council’s designated website on a weekly basis in order to check for suitable advertised properties. This allows applicants choose properties suitable to their needs. However, if can result in applicants spending time on the list while waiting for a property in a particular area to be advertised while they may have been successful in other advertised properties.
