MOTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

In the light of the official response (Correspondence Dec 2019 LAC) to my motion re Palmerstown Signage , that the Chief Executive write again to the TII/NRA asking for a list and location of the signage that has to be upgraded on the M50 and N4 and the cost in today’s terms of upgrading the signs and that the letter point out that there is a Townland called "Palmerston" there is no such destination and that the correct destination indicated on both the M50 and N4, is the Village of Palmerstown which voted by Plebiscite 6 years ago to have previous erroneous translation of the Irish name corrected and that the official name of this historic Village be (restored) changed to PALMERSTOWN.
