and to outline the mechanisms available for observations to be submitted.

REPLY:

Permeability was addresssed in development application SD15A/0192 which is sandwiched between SD17A/0397 and Palmerstown Woods, where the applicant states in additional information supplied;

Item 4- Permeability and Connectivity:

In relation to Permeability and Connectivity, the agent’s response states that Revised Site Plan drawing nos 15.002 PL.1.003 Rev A and P233.01.Rev A indicates the following changes:

  1.       A section of the perimeter fence has been omitted and a pedestrian gate would be installed to the boundary between Block 1 and 2, providing connectivity to the adjacent Palmerstown Woods estate.
  2.       A section of the perimeter fence has been omitted between block 2 and 3 with a pedestrian gate to Cloverhill Road.
  3.       The ground floor units of Block 3 have been revised to include a pedestrian access from the ‘Link Road’ and Cloverhill Road. Block 3 Ground Floor and Elevations are indicated on Dwg no. 15.002 PL-2.110.
  4.       Perimeter fencing has been reduced in height to 1.2m along the boundaries to Cloverhill Road and Palmerstown Woods.
  5. It is considered that the revisions set out above would improve amenity and the pedestrian/cyclist environment along Cloverhill Road and would therefore be is acceptable.

This has been submitted to planning enforcement to evaluate.
