QUESTION NO.5
QUESTION: Councillor Yvonne Collins
To ask the Chief Executive, when reviewing the operation of the Orlagh roundabout, has he considered the effect of even more traffic hitting the roundabout in the future with respect to the proposed development of the Cosgrave site and the Augustinian site at Ballyboden, given that the roundabout is on the direct route to the M50 and beside the local schools which are already packed?
REPLY:
All future developments such as the Cosgrave and/or the Augustinian site will require full traffic analysis to be supplied with the individual planning applications by the applicant for the planning authority to approve and condition as appropriate.
