QUESTION: Councillor Shane Moynihan
To ask the Chief Executive as to what clubs are being consulted as part of the design phase of the Griffeen Park Pavillion construction?
REPLY:
The public consultation process for the pavillion at Griffeen Park was recently completed and concluded with the passing of the Part 8 for the project.
The plans and particulars of the scheme were available for inspection on public display at County hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 and Clondalkin Civic Offices, Dublin 22, during normal working hours and on the councils website during the period from 26th September 2019 to 24th October 2019. Submissions or observations with respect to the development dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the proposed development will be situated could be made in writing up to 4.30pm on the 8th November 2019. 4 submissions were made during the public consultation period, one was from a club in the area. If sports clubs have a query in relation to the scheme they may contact the public realm section.
