QUESTION: Councillor Carly Bailey

To ask the Chief Executive for an update in relation to the programme of foothpath repairs. Can information be provided as to the plan for the next 12 months re: number of estates, which estates, a timeline of when works might be expected to begin and end, the criteria and what regard is taken for reported footpath issues? And in particular, what is the plan for Limekiln Green, Dublin 12, which is long overdue footpath repairs.

REPLY:

The 2020 Footpath programme will be presented to the Area Committee Meeting in February 2020.  The criteria for choosing the paths for repair is based on Area Engineer and Road Inspector inspections, Councillor requests, Customer Care requests and insurance claim locations.

Limekiln Green will be considered for inclusion in the 2020 Programme subject to availability of finance.
