QUESTION NO. 9

QUESTION: Councillor M. Duff

"To ask the Chief Executive if he can please confirm how many units received either windows or door replacement in the Tallaght Area in the year to date. Can the Chief Executive also please confirm how many people are currently on the list in Tallaght by year and grading and electoral area?"

REPLY:

There are currently 347 addresses on the Window and Door programme in the Tallaght area.   

Year to date 79 addresses had works carried out under the Windows and Doors programme. 47 replacements have been carried out under the full Windows and Doors Programme and 32 replacements under the single Windows and Doors programme.

When the 2019 replacements are excluded, the numbers remaining on the programme will be 273. Please This figure also includes 5 addresses where partial replacements were carried out this year but the addresses will remain on the programme for future works.

The breakdown of the 273 Tallaght addresses on the programme by year is as follows:

• 2007 – 3 addresses
• 2008 – 1 address
• 2009 – 11 addresses
• 2010 – 11 addresses
• 2011 – 29 addresses
• 2012 – 11 addresses
• 2013 – 11 addresses
• 2014 – 32 addresses
• 2015 – 48 addresses
• 2016 – 33 addresses
• 2017 – 28 addresses
• 2018 – 41 addresses
• 2019 – 14 addresses

All addresses on the Windows and Doors programme are graded 5.

There are 46 addresses on the programme in the Tallaght Central electoral area and 204 addresses in the Tallaght South electoral area.  The remaining 23 Tallaght addresses are in the Firhouse/Bohernabreena electoral area."
