QUESTION: Councillor L. Dunne

"To ask the Chief Executive what is planned in the Roads Department to deal with the potential increased traffic from the approved and ongoing applications through the SHD's within the Citywest Area?"

REPLY:

"Most SHD applications include parking ratios in the order of 0.5 spaces per dwelling.  Accordingly, the impact on the public road network is very light.

Where applicable, road works that are required to facilitate a development are introduced during pre-planning and become part of South Dublin County Council's submission to An Bord Pléanala (ABP) at Stage 3 of the application.

ABP ultimately decide such applications having considered all submissions."
