MOTION NO. 6

MOTION: Councillor M. Ward

The people of North Clondalkin and Lucan are very proud to be from Clondalkin, however the recent change in Local Election Areas has resulted in North Clondalkin and East Lucan included in a Local Election Area that does not have the name Clondalkin in it.

That this Area Committee agrees that the Local Election Area of Palmerstown/Fonthill be changed to the North Clondalkin/Palmerstown/East Lucan Local Election Area and to write to the Minister for local government to implement these changes.
