QUESTION: Councillor Alan Hayes

To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report on the possibilities of the council registering in its name, the green space adjacent to the 12th Century church on Mill Lane, Palmerstown, to provide permanent access to this monument. Especially given that the land does not appear to be registered to anybody at present.

REPLY:

The green space adjacent to the 12th Century church on Mill Lane, Palmerstown is registered in private ownership. If a property is not registered in the Land Registry it may have been dealt with by the Registry of Deeds. It holds property records dating from 1708 and are held in a combination of manual, micro-film and electronic formats. All records from January 1970 onwards are held electronically.
