QUESTION: Councillor Shane Moynihan

To ask the Chief Executive about progress about an item earmarked by the Council for priority under the Palmerstown Tidy Towns Strategic Plan, namely the median on the R148 to the Footbridge to be landscaped, and the concreted areas to be repaired/replaced.

REPLY:

There are no plans to replace the grass median on the R148 with a concrete area. Any landscaping would be carried out by the Public Realm Dept.

Community Services Dept are available to meet with members of the local Tidy Towns Committee and advise on future work plans after the 2019 Tidy Towns Adjudicator Reports are available.
