QUESTION: Councillor P. Gogarty
To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the long-awaited but necessary pedestrian crossing in Palmerstown village that would facilitate safer passage for users of Stewarts Services and for local residents to public transport and retail outlets?
REPLY:
a) Traffic count is now complete and a low level of foot and vehicular traffic has been recorded
b) An on site meeting has been arranged with the Director of Support Services for Stewart's Hospital for Thursday 24th October 2019, who has been unavailable to meet since the last ACM. A report on the outcome of this meeting will be forthcoming under a headed item at the November ACM.
