QUESTION: Councillor Yvonne Collins

To ask the Chief Executive when the Otterbrook Estate in Rathfarnham will be taken in charge, given that the relevant planning permissions have long since been complied with, and the importance of this issue to the residents.

REPLY:

The Council's Taking In Charge Section liaise with developers and residents in relation to Taking in Charge of developments.

The Section concentrate on those developments where there is cooperation by the parties involved with our Taking in Charge policy and provide all the information requested.

There are significant defects within Otterbrook and SDCC is not as yet in a position to take the estate in charge.
