"To ask the Chief Executive for a report on the average length of time spent on the housing list before you will receive an offer of a house? Broken down by one, two, three & four bed list for north of the Naas Road only."
REPLY:
The Choice Based Letting (CBL) scheme was introduced in October 2011 and is the Council main method of allocation/offer of accommodation. Applicants engaging with the scheme will receive an offer of housing when they are the successful in being placed top of the expression of interest list for a property advertised on the CBL website i.e. the have longest time on the social housing waiting list of those who made expression of interest in a specific property.
The average time on the Council's social housing waiting list for those successful CBL applicants is shown below by accommodation size for North of the Naas Road only:-
