MOTION NO. 5

MOTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

That this Area Committee request the Council, as a matter of urgency, address the plight of parents of children attending Lucan East Educate Together now that there is no parking available in the school which was decided following a recent fire safety audit. Drop off facilities are hazardous leading to potential traffic mayhem in the area. The potential for a temporary car parking facility is available.

REPORT:

SDCC traffic section request details of where the site exists for a potential car park. On receipt, we will investigate and if the proposal is feasible and under the control of SDCC, we will endeavour to assist in a resolution.
