That this Area Committee ask the Chief Executive for a report on what plan is in place for the money not spent on the Lucan €300,000 have you say budget. The feasibility report on the Silver Bridge has come in under budget at €13,158.54 and the work on the entrance to the graveyard has not taken place.

REPORT:

Once all final costings on each individual project has been submitted, the Council can look at what surplus money there is remaining and decide on any potential actions as any surplus would be required to cover any overspend by an individual project. All projects are currently anticipated to come in within budget but this won't be known until all outstanding projects are complete.

It is not envisioned, however, that the Council would use this money to begin new projects that were unsuccessful in the voting stage of €300k Have Your Say.
