QUESTION: Councillor R. Nolan

"It has been reported to me that there is concern surrounding the lighting outside the Paddocks. The residents are reporting that another street light is required at the pedestrian lights. To ask the Chief Executive assess this situation and give a report."

REPLY:

The Public Lighting Section proposes to extend the new lighting recently installed along the Dodsborough Road as part of the Adamstown development up to and beyond the Meadowview Grove junction to ensure a consistent light level approaching the new pedestrian crossing from all directions.

The design is currently underway and works should begin during the summer months.
