MOTION NO. 14

MOTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

That this Area Committee requests additional litter bins be installed on Manor Road Palmerstown and that the Council consult with local traders when deciding on the locations for the bins.

REPORT:

There are 4 bins on Manor Road in Palmerstown. The bins are located in the vicinity of the shops however they are in close proximity to each other and would operate more effectively if the location of one of them was changed. Following discussion on site with a member of the Community Council it is proposed to relocate the bin outside the “Noodle Box” to an area between Haven pharmacy and the Credit Union.
