REPORT ON TEMPLEOGUE VILLAGE PARKING
It has previously been agreed that the Templeogue section of the Council’s parking strategy would be put on hold until the proposed car park at the piggery site was developed. A plan was drawn up for a 40 space car park at this location on Cottage Lane. In order to make the site more user friendly the Council has sought agreement from adjacent land owners to provide direct pedestrian and vehicle access linking the proposed car park on the former Piggery site to the main street, and provisional agreement has now been reached with the landowners involved. This will result in the shortening of the distance between the shopping area and the car park by about half.
On completion of formal arrangements with the landowners, a public consultation process will be commenced for the full implementation of the parking strategy in
