QUESTION: Councillor T. Gilligan

"To ask the Chief Executive to outline any funding support for Corkagh Park Fisheries €1 million and to specify how the funding will be allocated?"

REPLY:

South Dublin County Council are commissioning consultants to undertake a feasibility study to look at the tourism potential of Corkagh Park. The future of the Corkagh Park Fisheries, and its potential development, will be assessed as part of the feasibility study. Members will be briefed of the findings of the feasibility study in due course.
