MOTION: Councillor D. O'Brien

That this Area Committee requests that the Chief Executive improves the public lighting at bus stop number 4619 on the Foxborough Road. There has been a number of attacks to people waiting at this bus stop over the last few months and improving lighting will hopefully make it safer for residents using this bus services.

REPORT:

Bus stop number 4619 is on Griffeen Avenue, which is adjacent to Foxborough Road. There is an existing public lighting column, P29, which is in close proximity to this bus stop, please see the attached photograph.

All PL columns along Griffeen Avenue were upgraded to LED in the last 12 months. There is nothing further that can be done by the Public Lighting Section to improve the lighting conditions at this location.
