QUESTION: Councillor B. Bonner

"To ask the Chief Executive if there will be a village festival in Clondalkin this year and if so on what dates?"

REPLY:

The Clondalkin Village Festival is organised by a local voluntary organising committee who work closely with Clondalkin Chamber of Commerce on the delivery of the local village festival.

The Committee have not yet been in touch with Community Services Department in relation to the plans for 2019 or dates for the festival.

The local Community Development Team are available to advise and support the local committee with their plans, including providing some funding assistance to help with some of the festival costs.
