MOTION: Councillor E. Higgins

"That this Committee asks the Legal Department for a full report on the community centre at Orchard Lane, Clondalkin."

REPORT:

Communication between the Councils Law Department and the legal representatives for the owner have continued with progress being made. The Law Department have indicated that the outstanding legal issues are approaching resolution and that a final legal agreement will follow. Members will be kept informed of progress.

The local Community Development Team are available to discuss proposals/expressions of interest from interested local community organisations in relation to the future use of the building, which is anticipated will provide space for community activities for Clondalkin Village.
