Public Realm Improvement Works - draft 2019 programme of works

Below is the list of schemes proposed for inclusion in the 2019 Public Realm Improvement Works Programme.  This list will be submitted, along with lists from the 3 other area committees, to the meeting of the County Council in February for the approval of the elected members.

Dodder Valley Park                                              Put in place measures to keep scramblers, quads and stolen cars out at Seskin View Road entrance

                                                                          Resurface tennis courts               

Castletymon library                                              Surface paths to the rear of the library

Sean Walsh Park                                                   Automate emergency gate at N81

                                                                           Further improvements and surfacing of footpaths

                                                                            Plant a pollinator friendly hedge at Cill Cais boundary

Tymon Park                                                           Complete the surfacing of footpaths at Limekiln car park

                                                                            Replace rotting sleepers at Wellington Toilets  and landscaping /planting .

                                                                             Provision of new park benches and litter Bins in number of locations in the park

                                                                             New pedestrian bridge at lakes at Castletymon side of park.

                                                                             Improved signage at all entrances - Tymon /Wellington/Limekiln.                                   

Carraigmore Park                                                    Implement measures to enable the park gate and car park at Citywest to remain open for park users

Aylesbury                                                                Construct footpaths across the main open space

Kingswood                                                               Resurface tennis courts

Kilnamanagh                                                            New fencing around playground

Beechfield                                                                New fencing around playground.                                      

Kilnamanagh                                                             Provision of footpath from Greenhills road pedestrian crossing to Birchview .
