MOTION NO. 7

MOTION: Councillor B. Ferron

"That this Committee welcomes the recent works to footpaths in the St Maelruans Estate Tallaght.  However, the footpaths that are used traverse the green spaces in the estate are still in pretty bad condition.  This Committee calls on the Chief Executive to arrange to have these paths inspected and further calls on the Chief Executive to arrange to have repair works carried out."

REPORT:

"The footpaths traversing the green spaces in St Maelruans estate have been examined.  The paths are considered to be in reasonably good condition. Parking of vehicles on the open space next to the path has resulted in the grass area being damaged.  The green space and paths will be monitored  on a ongoing basis to determine when repair works are necessary."
