MOTION: Councillor Emma Hendrick

"That this Council calls on the Chief Executive to engage with the Travelling Community living on Council sites in Tallaght and come up with a solution regarding waste collection services."

REPORT:

"The Council is due to shortly commence a pilot waste collection service with residents of the Cherryfield Traveller Specific Accommodation Site, the pilot is running in conjunction with the Tallaght Traveller Development Group and will be overseen and reviewed by the Local Traveller Accommodation Consultative Committee.  If successful, the Council hopes to extend the pilot to other sites within South Dublin County Council's administrative area."
