QUESTION: Councillor Emma Hendrick

"To ask the Chief Executive to give a detailed report on the wind down of the Management Company of the Brookfield Youth and Community Centre?"

REPLY:

"It is understood that the Brookfield Youth and Family Centre Company which ceased trading in 2017 has now been wound up but specific details are not available as yet.

Efforts are currently being made to form a new entity to take responsibility for the operation of the centre and detailed discussions will be undertaken with representatives of the key stakeholders in this regard. Subject to a suitable agreement arising from these discussions, it is intended to form a new company which will accommodate representation from the wider community."
