Cathaoirleach's Business

"That this Area Committee acknowledges the fantastic achievements of Niamh Coyne who won a Silver Medal at the Youth Olympics. Furthermore that the Area Committee recommends that the Mayor acknowledges Niamh’s achievements in some way on behalf of the County."

REPORT:

South Dublin County Council also wish to acknowledge the achievements of Niamh Coyne on winning a Silver Medal in the 100m breaststroke at the 2018 Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games. 

If the motion is approved, the Mayor's Office will issue a letter of congratulations in accordance with the Protocols for the Awarding of Civic Honours.
