QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the Chief Executive to present a report from his Housing Officials who attended the most recent meeting with Fettercairn Estate Management Group in respect of ongoing challenges they are facing in the Estate; will he outline actions proposed in respect of the various matters and will he make a statement?"

REPLY:

"The Council meet with Fettercairn Residents Association on a monthly basis.  In addition the Allocations Support Officers regularly liaise with Tallaght Gardai regarding anti-social incidents in the Fettercairn area.

The Estate Officer for the area continues to work with the Residents Association on a regular basis to discuss general Estate issues.  In recent weeks, members of the residents association attended the SDCC Community Awards ceremony where they received recognition for environmental improvements in the area."
