MOTION: Councillor B. Bonner

"That this Area Committee agrees that local groups such as the History Society, Tidy Towns and Residents Groups should be consulted before any plans are drawn up to install gateways features for Clondalkin Village." 

REPORT:

There are no plans at present to provide any gateway features in Clondalkin Village. Should any proposals be developed by South Dublin County Council, they will be subject to a Part 8 process, which will facilitate consultation with all local groups. In addition; in the interests of supporting consultation amongst the local community, the Area Committee will be kept informed of any future plans for gateway features in Clondalkin Village.
