"That this Area Committee asks the Library Services and Commemorations Committee to devise a programme of activities to commemorate local involvement in the War of Independence during 2019, given that the 100th anniversary of its outbreak will take place in January."

REPORT:

"South Dublin Libraries in conjunction with the Heritage and Arts Officers will plan a programme of activities to commemorate local involvement in the War of Independence during 2019, subject to budget allocation/grants awarded from Creative Ireland and the Decade of Centenaries funding".
