QUESTION: Councillor L. Dunne

"To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the Memorial Garden that was raised at Tallaght Area Committee in recognition of the women who fought for women's suffrage?"

REPLY:

"An area in Sean Walsh Park, close to the Old Bawn Road has been identified as an area suitable for the recognition and commemoration of the local women suffragettes.  A design and plaque will be prepared with a view to having work at this area carried out and completed before the end of 2018."
