MOTION NO. 30

MOTION: Councillor F. Timmons

"That this committee writes to the Superintendent of Clondalkin Garda Station and the Minister for Justice on behalf of Residents in Newcastle and Rathcoole who are going through a sustained period of crime in the Newcastle and Rathcoole despite assurances of an increased Garda presence. Issues include cars speeding, shop robberies, increased drug use and drug dealing and anti social behaviour etc." 

REPORT:

If the motion is approved, a letter will be issued to the Superintendent of Clondalkin Garda Station and the Minister for Justice for their attention, and when a reply is received, the Committee will be notified accordingly.
