MOTION: Councillor F. Timmons

"That this committee calls on the Chief Executive to consider the site known as the Eircom Site in Clondalkin for downsizing accommodation in order to free up some of the 56 houses on the SDCC list for downsizing. We also note that this site would be particularly a good location for older people who wish to downsize as its very close to buses, community centre and local shops etc."   

REPORT:

The Eircom site is currently being worked on and it is anticipated that it would be ready to bring to Part 8 over the next few months.  Consideration can be given to people on the Housing List who wish to downsize.
