"This Committee asks that during development at Mayfield Park, every effort should be made to ensure that the eco system of the Camac River is not negatively impacted and that the opportunity might be taken to tidy up this area of the river by putting the water and waste pipes which cross the river at this location underground."  

REPORT:

The Drainage Section is currently in consultation with Inland Fisheries regarding permission to insert a Weir at this location. This would allow the river level to be raised to cover these pipes so that they would no longer be visible.
