"This committee agrees that the  Council reinforce the wall at St Cuthbert's Park at the following locations:

Junction of Deansrath Green and Park

Junction of Melrose Green and Park

These two areas have been damaged to allow ease of access to the park for cars/bikes etc. and it is having a detrimental impact on the residents who live in this area."

REPLY:

It was agreed at the recent St Cuthbert’s Park High Level Task Force meeting held on 7^th September that boundary treatment works is on hold until the CCTV system is installed.  The sections of wall at the junction of Deansrath Green/Park and Melrose Green/Park have been secured to prevent encroachment by unauthorised vehicles.  In the meantime options to secure the boundary are currently being examined.
