Social Inclusion Week

Social Inclusion Week will take place from the 19th to 25th November 2018. The Social Inclusion Unit have processed all the proposals received for the week and the final schedule of events/programmes has been finalised. There are 96 events/programmes scheduled to take place over the course of the week and the events listings brochure will be distributed to this Committee's Members and to all Elected Members once completed.

The Social Inclusion Unit are also delighted to announce their Annual Talent Show, “Celebration of Social Inclusion through the Performing Arts”, that will take place in the Civic Theatre, Tallaght on Sunday 25th November 2018. The show is open to Groups or single acts with people aged 10 upwards able to participate.

Previous participants have included dancers, singers, musicians etc. Although there are prizes for the best performers on the night, the show is all about participation – applications are encouraged from any person or group from all backgrounds who feel that they have a hidden talent to get involved.

Applications are currently being accepted with the closing date for applications at 4.30pm on 5th October.
