QUESTION: Councillor M. Johansson

"To ask the Chief Executive to provide an update on Larkfield House on the Coldcut Road including current planning status and actions being taken by the council regarding planning breaches?"

REPLY:

The Council has received an application for retention permission for Larkfield House, Coldcut Road, Clondalkin, made under Part 3 of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended.

The retention permission is for alterations to development permitted under SD16A/0249 and for permission for further alterations to the existing development to provide 37 residential units. Permission is also sought for modifications to permitted bicycle and bin stores at ground floor level and for alterations to communal open space permitted under SD16A/0249.

Concurrently, Larkfield House remains the subject of an enforcement action. This action will not be stayed or withdrawn due to the retention permission application.
