MOTION: Councillor P. Gogarty

"That this Area Committee requests that the Chief Executive updates the elected representatives on the current status of planning applications within the SDZ and the completion of major roads and parks, including the link between Tandy's Lane and the railway station, as well as the opening date for the new road promised shortly linking The Paddocks entrance with Shackleton estate, which is required to alleviate rat running through internal roads in the estate such as The Paddocks Drive; and if a statement can be made on the matter."

Full details of the current planning applications in Adamstown SDZ are referenced in the Quarterly Report under Headed Item 11, including details of the development status of the Celbridge Link Road and Tandy’s Lane and Airlie Park.

The north-south link (i.e. Loop Road 1) is still under construction, with an anticipated completion date in Q3 2018.
